Capitalism thrives and depends on overpopulation, as it drives increased consumption like there were no limits and shoved down our throats like we’re farmed for our livers. However, there was an ecological balance in our ancestral migratory Hunter-Gatherer clans/bands and we/they were selfsustaining, so very unlike us. We could say that they are locked in a death grip destroying all life on the planet by the end of this century. due to climate collapse. also willfully locked; in that death grip.
